School welcomes Global Fellow
The School of Management is delighted to host Professor Rod McNaughton from the University of Aukland, who will visit the School as part of the University's Global Fellowship Scheme.
Rod McNaughton is Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Academic Director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Auckland School of Business. He has extensive experience in helping startups launch and grow, gained as both an educator and advisor. He is an internationally recognised scholar on entrepreneurship issues, whose research has been published in more than 100 refereed journal articles and books. Prior to joining the University of Auckland, he was the Eyton Chair in Entrepreneurship and Director of the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business at the University of Waterloo.
Professor McNaughton will be based in the School from Monday 16 September 2019 to Friday 11 October 2019. During his visit, he will explore links to the InGAME research partnership with Ross Brown, Shiona Chillas and Paul Hibbert. In addition, he will share his experience and develop research links related to university strategies and entrepreneurship – including governance, funding and organisational culture.
As part of his visit, Professor McNaughton will deliver a lecture entitled 'The challenges of entrepreneurship at universities' as part of the School of Management Lecture Series.
