Updating Scottish Government researchers

In January 2024, Dr Vicky Ward, Reader in Management and Director of the Research Unit for Research Utilisation, gave a presentation as part of the Scottish Government's Evidence in Policy Fortnight. 

In her talk to government researchers and analysts, Vicky focused on the evolving landscape of evidence in policy and practice, aiming to help audience members as they navigate the labyrinth of research and understanding on this topic. She was joined online by over 100 Scottish Government staff who were keen to learn more about some of the issues that research on evidence-informed policy presents and how these can be addressed.
