Second CRISP online seminar, July 2023

The second online seminar of the Centre for Research into Information, Surveillance and Privacy (CRISP) will be held on Wednesday 12 July 2023.

CRISP will welcome Professor Alistair Duff who is Emeritus Professor of Information Policy at Napier University and an academic visitor in the School of Social and Political Science, University of Edinburgh. Professor Duff will present his work, 'Information egalitarianism and public policy'.

Building on his article in the European Journal of Social Theory, Castells versus Bell: a comparison of two grand theorists of the information age, Professor Duff's paper will put forward a new principle of information equality and suggest public policies which the principle might support.
