International sustainability scholars and practitioners gathering
The School of Management will welcome members of the Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR) for the 33rd CSEAR International Congress, to be held from Tuesday 22 August to Thursday 24 August 2023.
This residential conference is a gathering of academics, practitioners and researchers. The focus is on the teaching, research, theory and practice of social, environmental and sustainability accounting and reporting. The spirit of the conference is interdisciplinary and submissions have been invited from perspectives beyond accounting.
The conference will be preceded by the 10th Emerging Scholars Colloquium which takes place on Monday 21 August 2023.
The plenary keynote speaker will be Juliane Reinecke from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Speaker at the practitioner's forum will be Richard Spencer, Director of Sustainability at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
