NIHR highlights RURU healthcare findings

The Research Unit for Research Utilisation (RURU), based in the School of Management, worked with the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) on a research study and its November 2022 plain English summary “alert”, How to make embedded research run smoothly.

The collaboration included development of a resource pack aiming to guide managers through the process of embedding researchers in healthcare and other settings.

Dr Vicky Ward, Reader in Management and Co-Director of RURU, said, "We hope the tools we've produced will help managers embed researchers within their teams and make knowledge co-production more efficient."
