Dr Clarice Chan co-edits special issue of 'English for Specific Purposes'

The Special Issue, entitled Business English: Research into Professional Practice, focuses on how to incorporate the research findings on a number of key areas in English for Specific Business Purposes into business English teaching. In doing so, it includes perspectives from both scholars and practitioners. More specifically, it focuses on a selection of ten different topics of relevance for business English and professional practice, as represented by a set of articles that have appeared in English for Specific Purposes since 2005. It explores how the findings from this research can be used to identify the knowledge and skills that learners of business English need to be successful professional communicators, as well as providing suggestions on how those findings can best be incorporated into business English teaching.
