Alternative formats

You can use these tools to create documents in accessible alternative formats.

SensusAccess

SensusAccess is an online tool to convert PDFs, including image-only PDFs, JPEGs and other files, to:

• an online book
• a text file
• audio
• braille.

Read the terms and conditions for using SensusAccess.

How to convert a file

• Upload a document for conversion, such as an image-only document (locked PDF paper).
• Choose the format you want to convert it to (Word, DOCX, RTF and others).
• Enter your University email address.

A document with 40 pages will take ten minutes to be converted. The converted file will be emailed to your University email address.
