The Butts Wynd Building is across from the Main Library entrance.

All University students can use the PC classrooms and the Group Study Rooms.

You will need your University ID card to access the study rooms, postgraduate lounge, and PC classrooms.

There are two ground-level entrances. One at the back of the building facing the Main Library, the other on Butts Wynd. The rooms are split over two floors that you can access using the stairs. A lift is available.

  • A postgraduate lounge available 24 hours a day
    • Located on upper floor
    • Seating and tables for groups and individuals
    • A kitchen area, which provides hot and cold water, sink, microwave, fridge, and storage.
    • Can be used by any students between the hours of 2am and 8am.
  • 2 group study rooms for drop-in use:
    • Group Study Room 8
    • Group Study Room 12
  • Seminars and teaching rooms which can be used while no teaching is taking place
  • Toilets
