Donations to the library

Limitations on physical space and budget require the University libraries to actively manage the development and configuration of all analogue and online materials.

The Library must consider the following factors before adding an item to the collection:

• cost of stewardship
• licence and access arrangements
• conservation
• storage space
• cataloguing resource
• digitisation costs
• shelving
• promotion
• other lifecycle costs.

The Library reserves the right to transfer, relegate or dispose of donated material.
