Activate your associate account (external examiner, partners)

You will receive two emails from the University, containing your:

  1. username (your initials, usually followed by a number)
  2. activation key (a random string of characters)

You will also need to enter:

  • your date of birth (in the format YYYY-MM-DD)
  • a new password 
  • the same password a second time (to ensure that you have not made any mistakes when typing your password)

Once you have set your password your account will be open and you will be able to access various online resources.

1. Enter username, activation key and date of birth
2. Agree to terms and conditions

3. Set a password

Your password:

  • must have a minimum of 8 characters
  • must include in the first 8 characters at least one number (0 - 9)
  • must include in the first 8 characters at least one non-alphanumeric character (one that is not a letter or a number)
  • Should include a mixture of upper and lower case letters
4. Submit form
