The Times are a-changing

The University of St Andrews has been named Scottish University of the Year and University of the Year for Student Experience in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025. This is the second recent accolade for St Andrews, which was also recognized for its student experience in the Daily Mail University Guide 2025.

Overall St Andrews was ranked second in the UK behind the London School of Economics, with Oxford and Cambridge ranked third and fourth respectively. The awards highlight St Andrews' commitment to providing high-quality teaching and a supportive learning environment.
