Text source

Alexander Barclay was amongst the Scots and English in Lublin who subscribed to the subsidy for King Charles II in 1651. He paid 2600 florins. Another Alexander Barclay of Lublin is noted as paying part of 1200 florins, along with William Andrews and it is uncertain whether this is the same man. He may be the same as the Alexander Barclay listed as a Scottish burgess in Danzig in 1664
