Andrew Robertson was a som of William Robertson, burgess of Aberdeen, and consort Bessie Chalmer. He studied Divinity at the University of Copenhagen, perhaps with a royal scholarship, arpound 1587. He published three works at Copenhagen, among them a translation of David Lindsay and a carmen lugubre over professor of Divinity Andreas Laurentius. He died probably around 1592, his sister Margaret appointed William Lawson of Copenhagen, and John Shearer of Elsinore, her proxies to deal with the inheritanceT.
