MORRIS, HANS [SSNE 8476]
Text source
John Morris appears in records of the town of Sandomierz in the late 16th century. There may be two men of similar names (Hans Morys and Hans Moryson), but the likelihood is that they are the same man. In February 1584, 92 florins was paid to Albert Liddell [SSNE 8475] as being an amount due to him by John. on 3 February 1587 one Dorotha Skoczkowa received 3 florins from Andrew Affleck the Scot [SSNE 8477]which was a debt of the late Hans Moryson.
