John Price was an English officer. He served as a common soldier in the Low Countries under Captain John Norris, as a corporal under Captain Price, and as a sergeant under Captain Vavasour in the 1580s. He became an ensign in France under Captain 'Nostian' and then as a lieutenant under Lord Willoughby. He served again under Nostian in Ireland and 'after that trailed a pike under [the Earl of] Essex in Normandy' in 1591.
