Nicholas Brockman was an English officer. He first served in Sir Thomas Morgan's expedition in 1572 and then as a corporal under Captain Bowser, Sir Humphrey Gilbert, Sir John Norreys, Captain Price through the 1570s and 1580s. At some point he was wounded and then promoted to ensign under Captain Thompson and then as a lieutenant under Captain Poule. He served in Essex's expedition to Normandy in 1591.
