George Kettelbie was an English officer in the 1560s to the 1580s. He first served under the Earl of Warwick against the rebellion of the Northern Earls in 1569 and then as a cornet to the Earl of Lincoln. He then served as an ensign and lieutenant under the Walter Devereux, 1st Earl of Essex in Ireland between 1573 and 1575. He then served under Captain Edward Bartlett at Zierikzee in the Low Coutnries in 1575-1576 and then under Captain Flood. He served as a lieutenant to Captain Chatterton in 1586, but took brief command of the company when Chatterton was killed. The company was disbanded in early 1587.
