WATKINS, JOHN [SSNE 8433]

John Watkins was a captain in the Anglo-Dutch Brigade, in the regiment of William, Lord Craven [SSNE 1339]. He served at the siege of Breda in 1637 and until his death in 1662. He had three children: Adriana, Maria, and John Watkins, and it appears John jr. was also an officer in Dutch service.
