Margaret Henrick was a Dutch woman and widow of Anthonie Meir, a soldier of the Scots-Dutch Brigade. Her husband was killed at the battle of Killiecrankie, 27th July 1689, during the Scottish Highland War (1689-1692). Margaret petitioned the Scottish Privy Council for funds to facilitate her return to the Dutch Republic and was granted five Rijksdaalders from the Treasury.
