Lieutenant-Colonel N. served in the fourth regiment of the Scots-Dutch Brigade under Sir George Hay of Kinfauns [SSNE 5056]. He served at the siege of 's-Hertogenbosch in 1629 and may have served at La Rochelle in 1627.
