James Danolson was a Scottish soldier serving in a Dutch expedition to Venice during the Uskok War in June 1618. He appears on a muster roll for the ship Glass of Rotterdam under Captain Jan Jansson Vanderlinden. His salary was 8 ducats, with an additional 9 ducats for food.
