Sir John Seton was a sergeant-major in the Earl of Oxford's regiment in Anglo-Dutch Brigade in 1625. He served as lieutenant-colonel under Colonel Sir James Livingston [SSNE 8050] in Sir Charles Morgan's [SSNE 89] expedition to Denmark-Norway.
