Captain Thomas Robinson was a Scottish officer in Dutch service in the 1570s. He was commissioned by the Scottish Privy Council on 6 June 1573 to levy 300 men for "the defence of Goddis trew religioun aganis the persecutiouris thairof," (Ferguson, p. 5). He appears in the pay lists of Holland for 1573-1574 and 1575-1577.
