Captain William Price was an officer in the service of Holland in the 1570s. David Trim writes that he served at Brill in 1572 and Price appears in the pay lists of Holland for 1573 (Trim, p. 460; Ferguson, p. 36). He was a part of Thomas Morgan's regiment and fought at Brill again in March 1573. He left Morgan's regiment and joined Chester later that year. He was paid off after Leiden in 1574 and served in the English army in Ireland.
