John Waker was an innkeeper and butcher in Hellevoetsluis. He lived there with his wife, Janneken Wit, who left in her will 100 guilders to another Scot, John Gree [SSNE 7921], a brewer who lived with his wife, Lysbet Goorden, in Bleijckerssteech.
