Joannes Leslæus, aged 17, matriculated at the Seminary of Braunsberg in the diocese of Ermland (Warmia) in August 1613. He studied logic and was sent to Rome along with Andreas Leslæus [SSNE 7885], who may be of some relation as the two students arrived around the same time.
