Alexander Moffat was a based in Zamosc in Poland-Lithuania. He had a son William and grand-children, John and Joan. They come to our attention through a testament in the National Archives of Scotland from 1716. By the time it was written all the Polish-based members of the family were dead and the testament pertains to the debts owed to a relative in Scotland.
