Text source
A 'Bishop Feijf' is recorded as the earliest known owner of the house 'Latona 9' Västerlånggatan 75-Prästgatan 74. He also owned 'Deucalion 6', Funkens gränd 3 towards the end of the 1600s. The latter house was transferred to Gustaf Hästsko in 1715.
According to Marryat this 'Bishop Pfeiff' was the son of George Fife who had left Scotland and settled in Pomerania in the sixteenth century, becoming 'burgomaster' of Golna.
Bishop Pfeiff had a son named David.
