Andrew Scott was a skipper who suffered some form of violence and was given compensation in 1609. Scott sailed to Iceland in May 1609 and was to send a sailor to the navy in 1610 and apparently to command a ship himself. He died by 22/1/1613, leaving his widow Margrete Nielsdatter and their minor daughters Karen, Gertrud, and BenteT. Riis, Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot (Odense, 1988), II, p.171.
