William Woodie was a Scottish officer in Swedish service. On 31 March 1620 his illegitimate child was christened at St Nikolai church in Stockholm. No godparents were noted. He himself, along with 3 other unnamed captains, served as a godparent to Hans Tailor's child who was baptised in June 1620
