RENNARE, THOMAS [SSNE 7293]
Text source
Thomas Rennare was noted in the Stockholm consistory records for May 1621 as a Scottish merchant. He had had an illegitimate child with Kirstin Pavelsdotter. This may have been another child from the one who was baptised at St Nikolai church on 20 March 1621. That child's mother was noted as a servant girl in James Maclean's [SSNE 5433] house. The godparents included Maclean's wife and James Hay's [SSNE 7297] wife. It appears that Maclean took the child to Germany.
