James Walker became a burgess of Stockholm in June 1704. Another J. Walker was a Scotsman living in Poland-Lithuania toward the end of the seventeenth century had previously collected in Elbing and "Queensbridge" (Königsburg) in 1687 a total of £97 toward the restoration fund of Marischal College, Aberdeen. Could this be the same man?
