Thomas Stalker was a Scotsman in Poland who in 1594 obtained letters from King Sigismund of Poland and Sweden regarding his ship which had gone aground on Shetland. Stalker was seeking restitution of his goods as taken by Thomas Ogilvy of Dundee. This Thomas Stalker may have been related to the eponymous man [SSNE 900] who became a burgess of Danzig in 1626 (or they may have been one and the same)Register of the Privy Council of Scotland, vol. V 1592-1599, p.214.
