Albert Hunter was apparently a bell-ringer in Gothenburg at Christina church. His daughter Catarina was baptised there on 11 December 1657 and Thomas Hunter [SSNE 4682] (possibly a relative?) was a godparent. Albert's first son Johan was baptised there on 7 June 1666. A second son, Albert, was baptised there on 5 November 1675. He served as godparent to Simon Somson son in 1666; to Albrecht Wedinghusen's duaghter in 1667; to Johan Rode's son in 1670; to Jacob Danielson's son in 1671; to Simon Simson's daughter in 1672; to Paul Persson's son in 1672; to Simon Simonson's sons in 1677 and 1680; to Sven Elg's son in 1682; and to Mr Hanson's daughter in 1685. An Albert Hunter married at the church on 28 December 1697 - this is probably his son. Albert senior was buried on 13 December 1696 71 years old
