Master Robert Marsham was noted as an English volunteer in the Swedish army in 1631. The fact he was named in the Swedish Intelligencer suggests he was an officer, or at least a person of rank. He was injured in the assault on Creuznach in early 1631 but laterm took part in the assault of Donaworth under John Hepburn [SSNE 2660]The Swedish Intelligencer: The Second Part (London, 1632), pp.81-83, 137.
