Per Jakobsson Tharmoth was the son of Major James Tharmoth. Both men served in the Swedish army, and Per was born in Sweden. Per held the rank of Captain and his son Jakob was born in the 1620s and ennobled in the 1690s.B. Schlegel and C. A.
