Johan Wulfer emigrated to London in the later part of the seventeenth century where he associated with members of the Royal Society - inluding Robert Boyle and Henry Oldenburg. He himself was a member of the clandestine intellectual [Rosicrucian] society 'Rosenkreizern' to which Gottfreid Leibniz (1646-1716) served as secretary. The group was based in NurnbergTrevor Stewart's response to M. Baigent, 'Freemasonry, Hermetic Thought and the Royal Society of London' in Ars Quatuor Coronatorum, vol.109, 1996, p.172.
