Robert Lie, a skipper from London, had loaded timber onto his ship in Norway in January 1641. King Christian IV of Denmark-Norway didn't believe that the timber would not be used for making masts and wanted the cargo to be tolled accordinglyNorske Rigsregistranter, vol.8 (1884), pp.18-19.
