William Wallace [SSNE 6923] worked as a merchant in Rotterdam in the 1671. He appears to have served primarily as a merchant agent for Sir William Bruce of Ballcaskye and a small bundle of letters from Wallace to Bruce survives in the National Archives of Scotland. On 14 May a partially printed document recorded the shipping of goods by Wallace to Leith and countersigned by one John Atcheson.
