Malin Duncan was daughter of Captain William Duncan, who had come to Sweden from Scotland.

Malin Duncan was the first wife of the Scottish officer William Clerck [SSNE 4349]. She had two sons with William, named Hans [SSNE 4160] and Thomas [SSNE 6333].
