Thomas Hacker was an English preacher born in Wismar in 1615, who had moved to Goteborg by 1642 and married firstly on 8 September 1644 Catherine/Christina Spalding [SSNE 6243], daughter of Hans Spalding [SSNE 4677], and secondly in 1667 Anna Wiesenhoff. His son, Thomas jr. [SSNE 4785] was born in Gothenburg and worked as a superintendent at Aker's foundry and all the powder mills of Sweden in 1682.
