Jacob Jacobsen Skotte was a burgess, who was authorized in 1620 to run a wine cellar with German, French and Spanish wines. Purveyor of wine to the church 1625-6, 1631-3, 1644-6, and bought corn from it 1631-2. He also rented a garden from the Poor from 1628-9. he was assailed several times 1629-30 and 1634-5 to 1637. He lived in Sondre Fjerding 1647, and died in 1652 or 1653. He married Karine Andersdatter Grim (whose second husband Lorentz Friedrichsen van den Enden took over the wine cellar 12/6/1654)T.
