Peter Cahun was the son of the Scottish Cavalry officer, Hugh Cahun [SSNE 778]. He is said to have moved to Poland around the turn of the seventeenth century. This man is often confused with the Scottish mine-owner in Falun who bore the same name [SSNE 4774].
