BLASIIDOTTER, BRITA [SSNE 6134]
Text source
Brita Blasiidotter was the daughter of the Scottish merchant in Stockholm, Blasius Dundee [SSNE 768].
Brita Blasiidotter married Thomas Glenn [SSNE 6132] in November 1626. Thomas Glenn was a merchant burgess of Stockholm.
Brita must have inherited her father's house on Köpmangatan on the corner of Själegårdsgränden in Gamla Stan. In 1628 Thomas Glenn put what he called, however, "his" house at that address up as collateral for a 1500 daler loan he took from James Gardner (Jacob Gerner) [SSNE 4922] and Matthias Trost.
Brita died in 1635. In church records it was noted that "an old Scots wife, who lived with Tomas Glend" was buried in Storkyrkan on 9/10/1635.
