James Mean was the son of Patrick Mean.He was recorded as living in Spruce in Polish Prussia in 1630.There was a court case involving his father's debt.
Another Jakub Meyne was listed as a Scot living in Kedany, Lithuania in 1637. It is unclear if these were the same man.
