Lilian Hamilton was the daughter of Archbishop Malcolm Hamilton of Cashel in Ireland and his wife Mary Wilkie. On 30 December 1655 she married John Maclean, 1st Baronet Duart [SSNE 1631] in his second marriage. She died a few years later and was buried on 4 April 1658 in Gothenburg
