Text source
Anna Margareta Gordon was the daughter of Colonel John Gordon [SSNE 2515] and his wife Anna Thomson [SSNE 5442]. Her mother married John Maclean, 1st Baronet [SSNE 1631] on the death of Colonel Gordon. Thus Anna Margareta was a step-sister of Johan Maclean, 2nd Baronet [SSNE 4205] whom she married around 1667. It was either this woman or [SSNE 5439] who freighted goods to Hamburg in 1694. Some sources say she died on 24 March 1696, although others note her as still alive, though ill, the following May. In any case, she died in Gothenburg and was buried on 10/01/1697 in the city's Christina Church.
