MACLEAN, LUNETTA [SSNE 5434]
Text source
Lunetta Maclean was the second and only surviving daughter of Jacob Makleer (James Maclean) [SSNE 5433] and his second wife Lunetta Raverding. Her mother died giving birth to Lunetta on 20 August 1616. Lunetta married fellow-Scot Richard Clerck [SSNE 4138], who later became a Swedish vice-admiral, on 13 January 1633 (although one sources notes the marriage occurred in 1632). However, she died shortly afterwards, on 4 June 1634, apparently while giving birth. Her funeral service in July was conducted by John Rotlebew.
