Sophie Spang was most probably the daughter of the Scottish officer in the Norwegian army, Colonel Andrew Spang. He served Christian IV during the war with Sweden, 1643-1645. Sophie was born in the 1630s and died in 1681. She married Ove Brockenhus, an officer in the army, and with him had a child, Jorgen Otto Brockenhus who also served in the army.
