Text source
William Sennot was a major in the Danish-Norwegian army from 1627-1628. He subsequently transferred into Swedish service in 1629. He died of the plague at Stettin so is unlikely to have seen much active service for the Swedish Crown.T. Riis, Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot (Odense, 1988), II, p.132; J.
